The Beastie Boys have been uber-busy lately. Therefore, we will forgive them for announcing their L.A. Gala Event a couple days after tix went on sale. If you haven’t heard, the Gala Events are the ones that feature the band as a jazz-funk ensemble playing instrumental music off their new album, The Mix Up. These shows tend to sell out quickly, but it’s likely that most people didn’t know tix went on sale Saturday, if the Beasties didn’t announce it on their site until Sunday. As of writing this report, the show was not sold out, so L.A. BBoys fans still have a sure shot at tix. According to the BBoys tour page:
