Love this roots reggae refix produced by Shy FX with Dizzee pon di mic. From Dizzee Rascal’s Tongue N Cheek LP, here’s “Can’t Tek No More” of this, No No No…

The latest mix from ( our longtime <3 ) MRK1 is pure EEEEEEVIL! Absolutely nasty bass, head-bangin beats and skull-crushin synths. Reminds me of the set he played @ the Bordello in Oakland last summer…. MRK1 is a MONSTER live!
Love this sultry booty bass track from longtime fave Stereotyp (<3 <3 ) and newcomer-to-us Arabyrd. Whoever she is, we’re in love – girl crush all.the.way. Keep this up, love!
It’s been a minute since i posted anything from dashing dubstep duo Vex’d… I’ve been wearing out Jamie’s solo release In System Travel in the meantime (on vinyl & I drop it every time I play out). But now we get a fresh track off their new/lost album Cloud Seed which comes out next month on Planet Mu. The tune is called “Disposition” featuring Jest pon di mic:

What you call it? Dubstep? Dance? 2-Step? It just gets funkier and funkier, like the official new technicolor video for Rusko’s “Woo Boost”:
His debut album O.M.G.! out on Mad Decent, May 2010.
Check out Dorrough’s saucy likkle vid, “I Want (Hood Christmas)” and enjoy the rest of 2009. See you in 2010!!
Xrabit and DMG$ mix old school hip hop beats and flow with new-rave/M.I.A. day glow flavor. Last year, the duo signed to Big Dada Records (Ninja Tune’s hip hop homies) and will release their new album, Hello World, on March 9th.

Wow, Weezy really didn’t put much effort into his new video for “A Milli.” The production is so lo-fi compared to the vid for “Lollipop.” Ladies, however, will enjoy watching Wayne Carter strut around with no shirt on and the part where he poses with the super-shorty is adorable.
We’re spinning 2 songs off the upcoming new Nas album called Nigger and I am really diggin both. Listen to “War Is Necessary” and “Be A Nigger Too.” Then, on July 1st, grab your copy of Nigger coz it’s gonna be the album of choice for BBQ’s this summer!

Earlier this month, I interviewed Elephant Man, Jamaica’s wildest entertainer. We discussed his new album, Let’s Get Physical on Diddy’s Bad Boy Records label, and Ele revealed a few juicy tidbits that haven’t made headlines yet. So, of course, I’m happy to share them with you! He mentioned that the next single off Let’s Get Physical will be his collaboration with Chris Brown. Man, the ladies are just mad about this barely-legal RnB star! I get so many emails and comments about Chris! The song he did with Elephant Man is called “Feel The Steam” and you can listen to it here:
So far, “Magnificent” is my favorite song on Estelle’s new album Shine. Kardinal Offishall brings spice to Estelle’s sugar while smooth dub basslines stir it up. Listen here:
You might have noticed the new Soul Food playlist under the player these days. Just Estelle and Nina Simone so far, but I’ll be adding some Erykah and Al Green soon enuff….
From the Harder Better Faster Stronger 2008 (Alive Club Mixes) comes this wicked little Daft Punk mashup:
Rik Cordero does it again, this time with The Roots, Chrisette Michelle and Wale. The tune is “Rising Up” off the new Roots album, Rising Down. Here’s the video Cordero directed:
The tunes on Prodigy’s H.N.I.C. Pt. 2 are totally ill with fat bass and old school drum sounds. Therefore, I don’t understand why all the videos have such poor audio quality. Prodigy must’ve busted ass to get all this on film before being locked up, so why did his sound tech bail on him? Anyhow, here’s 3 more vids (+1 from yesterday):
Dutty Artz is just about to drop their premiere release, featuring the bangin ragga stylings of Jahdan Blakkamore. I got hold of this tune “Go Round Payola” and can’t stop playing it since:
