Do you feel Ozzfest isn’t enough to satisfy your need for extremely dramatic metal music, live and larger-than-life on stage? I have a solution, but, alas, it does not include the King of Black Metal – the Oz himself. What it does offer is Cradle Of Filth! The absolute best at theatrical, operatic metal in all its gothic glory! Check it:
“Her Ghost in the Fog” by Cradle of Filth:
Cradle of Filth will be headlining this year’s Viva La Bands tour. The epic, hard-rock tour will scream like tortured banshees across North America from the end of September until the beginning of November. Supporting bands include CKY, Vains of Jenna and a yet-to-be-announced “new age vaudeville show.” There’s other goodies too – the visuals on the tour will include clips from the bands’ videos that have been stored in the MTV vaults – shots that were too risky to be aired! These will be combined with behind-the-scenes footage from Margera’s new film “Minghags.”
In addition to the tour, Filthy Note and Ferret Music record labels will release a CD/DVD titled Viva La Bands: Volume 2. The release will feature brand new music by GWAR, Clutch, Bloodhound Gang, Children of Bodom, Vains of Jenna, CKY and more.
