The green screen is a tad ridiculous and might defeat the hood credibility. But - it looks like they’re inside the world of Grand Theft Auto, which is made to look like different urban areas where hip hop breeds, which is a clever sample/resample of hip hop culture. Check the way the camera zooms in sometimes, it’s just like a GTA zoom. And the way the camera shakes is on cue to what’s going on in the song, real similar to how the controller shakes when you run shit over, or how the visual stumbles when you hit something. Grand Mutha-Fuckin Auto yo.
Or, it might be a Rewind to classic 80’s rap styles, like a Dirty South remake of Beat Street. Ludacris is looking pretty Beat Street too with those Bengals colors. But shit his lyrics are TIGHT! He’s so hood, he makes the version.
Drama has a powerful look in his eyes these days. Man. has. seen. some. shit. and it’s looking back out. Fierce. Sexy….
