Fader Mag has a fantastic feature today about Daft Punk. Partly because their tour starts in L.A. tonight, partly because they just effing RULE and partly because the Punks let the peeps from Fader try on their new and improved robot helmets. How cool is that? If you haven’t seen the new helmets, check this:

But that’s not Bangalter or de Homem-Christo - the Daft music-makers - in this picture. It’s Robot #1 from their 11-minute long feature film, Electroma! He stands in anytime that Bangalter and de Homem-Christo are busy elsewhere. Finally we know the secret of how those guys seem to be in more than one place at a time! I thought maybe they had actually rigged together some daft robotic time charm…
