Sundance Fest Is First Stop For Jah Cure

July 16th, 2007

The Curefest may have been pushed to October, but Holland won’t have to wait so long to see Jah Cure’s return to the stage. His first performance in 8 years will be at the Sundance Music Festival in Holland on August 12th. By the 1st of September he will be basking in the Caribbean sunshine on the isle of Grenada, at the start of an eastern Caribbean tour. Well, a mini-tour anyway – ending on September 25th, the only shows that I’ve found are in St. Maarten and Tortola (not the dreaded Tortuga of Pirates fame).

Jah Cure is set to be released from prison on July 28th – with a hit-single already underway. Danger Zone Records released the song “Sticky” on the Jamdown Riddim, and it has remained in the #1 slot of the BBC Dancehall Charts for 3 weeks in a row now.
