New Missy Elliott Video In 2D Or 3D!

February 6th, 2008

Check it: Missy’s new video for “Ching-A-Ling/Shake Your Pom Pom” is finished and you can watch it here in 2D or 3D. It sounds like “Shake Your Pom Pom” is on the same riddim as Eve’s “Tambourine”.

3D version – Missy Elliott – “Ching-A-Ling/Shake Your Pom Pom”:

Missy Elliott CHING A LING & SHAKE YOUR POM POM

If you watch the video with 3D glasses (the red and blue kind) the video online works okay, but I bet it really pops if you watch it on the tele! Especially that kid doing the wave into the camera – right into your face! I love 3D effects and I say the best way to beat piracy is to offer something people can’t get at home. That’s why I go to IMAX movies – especially 3D IMAX movies – instead of watching them at home. The movie industry and the music industry could take advantage of the fact that 3D doesn’t upload well. Missy Elliott is always taking her game to the next level. Everything she does sets trends and I would love to see the industry follow her latest move.

Most Popular Tunes on ([HearingTest]) in 2007

January 2nd, 2008

Ever wonder what everyone else is listening to? Today’s list of Top Rankin Tunes is compiled from what was most popular among ([HearingTest]) readers in 2007. This is definitely the most pop-oriented of all the lists; starting with the the most-played tune: Alicia Keys and Jr. Reid’s reggae soul remix of “No One” followed by the tune that Jah Cure released at the same time he himself was released from Tower Prison. These two tunes were receiving thousands of plays per day for weeks! Recently, the audio CD that comes with Ghostface Killah’s new book “The World According To Pretty Toney” has been streaming pretty much round the clock on computers around the globe and linked to on numerous hip hop BBs. Other big contenders include Foxy Brown’s don diva anthem with Mavado – “We’re On Fire” – released during her incarceration in Rykers Island and the club anthem of the year in UK – T2 and Jodie Aysha’s incredible infectious “Heartbroken” which puts the bounce in Bassline music! Eve Brings Mashonda To The Dancefloor

September 5th, 2007

Eve teamed up with Mashonda for some sexy girl talk on her new hit: “Dancefloor.” Mashonda is an ethereal compliment to Eve’s rock-solid rapping here. “Dancefloor” is the B-side to the super-hot, dancehall flavoured “Tambourine.” Swizz Beatz made a banging score for Miss Eve to shake her tambourine to, and it was an easy choice for the first single off her latest record Here I Am. Eve Sings On New Album, Speaks On Hip Hop, Imus

May 14th, 2007

Eve is ready to drop a new album, Here I Am, on August 7th. It has quite a diversity of flavors from collaborations with Mary J. Blige, Sean Paul, Robin Thicke, T.I., Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. It also has the Philly lady stretching her vocals and testing some area outside of her usual comfort zone. She lists “All Night Long” as her favorite song on the album, but also the one that was most challenging for her. She sings the whole song, rather than rapping, so it has become something she really has to work at. She told MTV news, “Now I felt like I’d take the gamble because it is the fourth album, and why buy my album if you’re going to hear the same thing you heard three years ago?” ([More →])
