Everything Fit To Print About ([Ghostface Killah])

Most Popular Tunes on ([HearingTest]) in 2007

January 2nd, 2008

Ever wonder what everyone else is listening to? Today’s list of Top Rankin Tunes is compiled from what was most popular among ([HearingTest]) readers in 2007. This is definitely the most pop-oriented of all the lists; starting with the the most-played tune: Alicia Keys and Jr. Reid’s reggae soul remix of “No One” followed by the tune that Jah Cure released at the same time he himself was released from Tower Prison. These two tunes were receiving thousands of plays per day for weeks! Recently, the audio CD that comes with Ghostface Killah’s new book “The World According To Pretty Toney” has been streaming pretty much round the clock on computers around the globe and linked to on numerous hip hop BBs. Other big contenders include Foxy Brown’s don diva anthem with Mavado – “We’re On Fire” – released during her incarceration in Rykers Island and the club anthem of the year in UK – T2 and Jodie Aysha’s incredible infectious “Heartbroken” which puts the bounce in Bassline music! Ghostface Killah & P.Tone Bring Sun To Dark Days

December 20th, 2007

Loads of peeps are loving The World According To Pretty Toney by Ghostface Killah! I know I couldn’t get enuff of it at first, I listened to that audio over and over again. Well, hopefully y’all will get a copy for Xmas, but if you’re like most peeps I know, you’ll have to wait until Xmas day and see if there is a gift certificate or some cash under the tree to go out and cop that book. To help make the wait a little easier, I hunted around for some more audio. I wasn’t able to find anything as good as what I posted earlier (sorry!) but I did find some treats. ([More →])

Ghostface Killah – New Video For “Toney Sigel A.K.A. Barrel Brothers”

December 5th, 2007

Today, Ghostface Killah upped the new video for “Toney Sigel A.K.A. The Barrel Brothers” featuring Beanie Sigel and Styles P. The song is from his brand new album, The Big Doe Rehab. I dig the lo-fi ambiance. It kinda reminds me of the first time I saw Naughty By Nature’s “O.P.P.” on the tellie…

Ghostface Kills Me With New Book + Audio

November 20th, 2007

This audio that is included with Ghostface’s new book, “The World According To Pretty Toney” totally made my day! No matter how gloomy you might be feeling, hit play and see if Ghostface can turn that frown upside down!

Not only is Ghostface a riot, but the little tone to let you know it’s time to turn the page is so classic! It’s almost like being 7 again and somehow Ghostface is the substitute teacher for the day….

The book markets itself. I want one for Xmas, there’s no doubt about it.

Wu-Tang Gently Weeps With Beatles, Frusciante, ODB

August 15th, 2007

I‘m excited about a new Wu-Tang Clan album, and 8 Diagrams sounds like it will woo new fans as well as old. The album won’t drop until Fall, but thanks to the internet, it’s never too early to start getting the inside scoop. Previously, all we really knew was that all original members are participating, including recordings of Ol’ DB himself! ([More →])
