Kanye Animates Murakami Bear In Good Morning!

The bear in Kanye’s new video reminds me of Mori Chack’s Gloomy Bear. Except this bear doesn’t end up slashing anyone with his razor sharp claws. And from the looks of things, it wasn’t easy! Maybe it’s because this bear was created by Takashi Murakami, who looks like he wouldn’t hurt anyone. Unless they didn’t like this video.

Louis Vuitton’s Millionaire Stunner Shades

Pharrell Williams sure knows how to flaunt his expensive taste! In 2005 he teamed up with Nigo of Bathing Ape to create a line of designer sunglasses that look like a million bucks. They stunner shades were inspired by the OG gangsta - Scarface! - and you may recognize them on Jay-Z’s mug on the cover of XXL Mag come December. Jay Z Is A Comfy Man

Jay Z is very comfortable as president of Def Jam, and he doesn’t plan to give that up just yet. His three year contract will be up soon, but he says he intends to renew it. Unless that is, Columbia has an even more comfortable chair for him, near his buddy Rick Rubin. Jay-Z told the NYC radio station Hot 97 that he called to congratulate Rubin on his new job at Columbia, but that the two of them haven’t spoken about it yet. The executive rapper also chatted on the air about the upcoming head-to-head showdown between Def Jam’s Kanye West and Interscope’s 50 Cent when both release a highly-anticipated album on the same day - 9/11.
