Spoon Talks Ga With NME

June 25th, 2007

Spoon’s frontman Britt Daniel spoke briefly with NME magazine about the upcoming Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. Daniel talks about recording in Austin, stories written during the end of his previous relationship, and how he feels that this is the best record the band has ever made. I think I agree with that last statement. Click over to NME to see what you agree with:

3 very interesting things about Spoon’s forthcoming album - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga:

  1. The release date is July 10th, but you can listen to the entire album on Merge Records. (links below)
  2. The cover is a fabulous photograph of the AMAZING amazing AmAzing! artist Lee Bontecou in her NYC studio. The photo is taken by the ultra-fantastic Ugo Mulas, in 1963.
  3. Spoon have announced a North American tour for this summer
