Yet another update to the Jesu, Sunn O))) and now Wolves In The Throne Room Tour! That’s right, Wolves In The Throne Room will be joining the heavyweights of experimental metal for half of their tour as well as playing numerous shows with Ludicra this Fall. The only down side is that Wolves will no longer be playing the shows with Asunder that were accidentally announced last week. But playing with Jesu more than makes up for it, I think!

This information about the Wolves In The Throne Room tour has been completely revised since the last announcement, so look carefully at your city. I’ve been alerted that the band is in the middle of confirming more east coast and midwest shows, and will announce them soon. So, check their metal$pace page for those additions.

Wolves In The Throne Room - Two Hunters available now

As of today, you can order the new WITTR album Two Hunters directly from Southern Lord. The official release is not until September 25th, but some of us can’t wait that long! According to Southern Lord:

The new album: “Two Hunters” was recorded on tape, at London Bridge and Aleph Studios by Randall Dunn (Earth, sunn 0)))/Boris, Kinski) in the Pacific Northwest.. The process of the recording was very organic with very minimal use of any digital manipulation or processed effects. Jessica Kinney (previous collaborations with Eyvind Kang and Asva) provides beautifully dark vocals on “Cleansing” and “I Will Lay Down My Bones Among the Rocks and Roots.” Comes packaged in a 5″ mini-gatefold thick cardboard jacket.
