It’s official - Paris Hilton is going to jail. Today, the judge sentenced her to 45 days in LA County jail!

Hilton must report to the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban Lynwood on June 5. She will not be allowed work release, leaves of absence, use of an alternative jail or an electronic-monitoring device instead of jail.

Isn’t LA County a pretty serious jail? Not the kind of place they usually send rich people? Well, that’s as simple as life gets, i suppose.

She was caught speeding with her headlights off, while her license was suspended and she was on a 36 month probation for DUI, for which Paris says she is “very sorry” and she didn’t do it on purpose.

And just last week she was the top contender for Prince William’s next girlfriend. I suppose this will put a snag in that option.
