Ian MacKaye, frontman for Minor Threat and Fugazi, has been getting a lot of phone calls today. He answers immediately, exclaiming, “I am still alive!” He goes on to say, “I am happy to report that I am not dead.”
Journalists are a skeptical bunch. Especially when the little details in a story make no sense. So, they rang him up at home, and before they could say hello, the legendary punk singer announced his well-being. He also described how he’s had to remove rumours of his death from Wikipedia, twice today, as well as my$pace.
