For those of you don’t know, UK garage music spawned grime and dubstep music. The latter two have been attracting a bigger and bigger spotlight this year with hit smashes from Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, Skream, Skepta and more. Meanwhile, the garage producers have been keepin it real with techno and house heavy club bangers and slowly developing a “new” Niche called Bassline House.
T2 Bumps Bassline House
The undisputed theme song for the summer was T2’s angelic woofer-wobbler, “Heartbroken” - a tune that has been on regular rotation in clubs and radio from Leeds to London (and sometimes a certain club night in SF). T2 better be ready to bounce to the top when 2NV/Universal release the single on 26 November because the international dance scene is definitely ready for the fresh interpretations of RnB/house that T2 produces.
