I am not a big Usher fan, but the first single off his new album “Dat Girl Right There” has me very intrigued. First of all, it features Ludacris who I AM a fan of and the music is downright different for a hiphop/RnB tune. It’s funky electronica, with thick bass, but minimal beats. Luda even raps over a section with no beats at all… Check out the audio from this youTube thang:

RWD has it that the producer is Rich Harrison and the album is due in March 2008. I’m not sure, but it looks like the album is titled Fifth Album despite that it’s his sixth? Anyone know if this is the right title?
