Hip hop’s new kid on the block is Soulja Boy’s homie V.I.C. The dynamite duo just upped their new video for “Get Silly” which you can watch right here:
No false expectations here, this is definitely silly. Just wait and see how many peeps be doing this dance at the clubs this weekend…
Haters are gonna hate, but I think the hip hop world is long overdue for more light-hearted hits. After much misogynistic gangsta rap (not all rap of course), I find it super refreshing to hear music by The Pack, Soulja Boy, Lil Mama and the like. V.I.C. is adding his voice to the growing genre of Fun Rap with his tune “Get Silly” featuring music by Soulja Boy himself. I especially like the music, so I’m hoping we’ll hear a few more tunes come out on the same riddim.

hommie has an ill voice. but i remember when hommie was in wal-mart selling his cds out in Riverdale i think. I brought 2 of the cd’s myself. Hommie is good at the party rap and whole dance thing, but he spits to. He nice trust me. From one artist to another i got respect for his grind and talent. Solujah Boy to.
