Marie Daulne aka Zap Mama will release another gorgeously funky and smooth-as-Sunday-afternoon album this summer. The Belgium beauty is finishing up Supermoon which she describes as a more personal and intimate document than her previous works. The album features an amazing cast of collaborators such as Tony Allen, Meshell Ndegeocello, Michael Franti, Bashiri Johnson, David Gilmour, and Daniel Feiberg.
Supermoon will be released in the US on August 7th, but won’t drop in UK or Europe until September 3rd. Zap Mama will be enchanting US audiences with a late summer tour once the album is out.
